COKLAT SABANG

COKBANG（チョコラット・サバン） は、ココア生産者協同組合ジャヤ・マンドリ の主要事業ユニットで、2022年1月にアチェ州サバン市で正式に稼働を開始しました。この取り組みは、協同組合による カカオの川下産業化（付加価値化） の推進から生まれ、農家に利益をもたらすと同時に、サバン産カカオの本物の味を広い市場に紹介することを目的としています。拠点は、アチェ州サバン市スカカリャ地区アヌック・ラオット – パヤスナラ通りに位置し、同地域は優れたカカオ生産ポテンシャルを持っています。

 

協同組合と地域の人々によって設立・発展した Cokbang は、サバン産カカオ豆を原料にした プレミアムチョコレート の生産に注力しています。製品は、チョコレートバー、ココアドリンクパウダー、チョコニブ、カカオティー など多岐にわたり、品質と自然な風味を大切にしています。設立以来、Cokbang はインドネシア銀行が主催する インドネシア・クリエイティブ・ウィーク（KKI） などの全国的なイベントに参加し、メディアからも「カカオ川下産業化の成功例」として注目されています。こうしたプロモーションの後押しにより、Cokbang はますます サバン名物のお土産 として知られるようになり、地域産カカオ製品が国内市場で競争できるだけでなく、国際市場への扉を開く存在であることを証明しています。

COKBANG (Coklat Sabang) is the flagship business unit of Koperasi Produsen Kakao Jaya Mandiri, officially operating since January 2022 in Sabang City, Aceh. This initiative was born from the cooperative’s effort to drive cocoa downstream processing (hilirisasi), providing added value for farmers while introducing the authentic taste of Sabang cocoa to broader markets. Located on Jalan Aneuk Laot – Paya Seunara, Aneuk Laot, Sukakarya, Sabang City, Aceh, the area holds remarkable potential for cocoa cultivation.

 

Established and developed by the cooperative together with local actors, Cokbang focuses on producing premium chocolate made from Sabang’s original cocoa beans. Its product range includes Chocolate Bars, Cocoa Drink Powder, Choco Nibs, and Cocoa Tea, all crafted with attention to quality and natural flavor.

 

Since its founding, Cokbang has participated in national events such as Karya Kreatif Indonesia (KKI) organized by Bank Indonesia and has been highlighted by the media as a successful example of cocoa downstreaming that strengthens the local economy. With this promotional support, Cokbang is increasingly recognized as a signature souvenir from Sabang, proving that local cocoa products can compete nationally and open doors to international markets.
